The people behind every visit
We're a close-knit, caring team that believes great dentistry starts with genuine relationships. Our patients trust us because we work to listen, connect, and care with every visit.
Dentists
Caroline Curtis, DMD
Dentist & OwnerI moved to Alaska in 1991 with my mom and brother. I've lived all over the lower 48, but I consider Alaska home — and there's no better place to call home than Eagle River.
My dental career started in 1998 as an assistant in oral surgery and orthodontics. By 2008, a new passion for the field led me to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where I earned my DMD in 2012. I was called back to Alaska and worked in Fairbanks at the Interior Community Health Center as both a staff dentist and dental director. In 2018, my husband, my son, and I returned to Eagle River and purchased Eagle View Family Dental from our former family dentist, Dr. Rampton. In 2023, we expanded by purchasing Dr. Evans's practice when he retired — I'm grateful both dentists trusted me with their patient families.
Outside the office, I love family time, books, crafts, bees, and Disney! My approach is simple: honest, prevention-focused care that treats patients like family, not transactions. I take the time to explain what we see and talk through every option, so you always feel informed and in control. I'm also dedicated to mentoring my team and giving back to the Eagle River community I call home.
Jacqueline Wells, DMD
Dentist & AssociateWe're so glad Dr. Wells has joined us at Eagle View Family Dental! She made the move to Alaska with her husband, their twins, and their two Newfoundlands.
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Wells earned her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry — the same program as Dr. Curtis. An externship in 2023 brought her and her family to Alaska, and they fell in love with it.
Her background is in studio arts: a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MFA in Photography from Northern Illinois University, where she later taught as an academic advisor and professor of art. After staying home with her twins for two years, she became the Academic Coordinator for the University of Louisville School of Dentistry — and that's where she fell in love with dentistry. She's also worked chairside as a dental assistant in prosthodontics. The same attention to detail she brought to her art shows in the care she brings to her work.
